Manitoba Snowboard follows Canada Snowboard’s Safe Sport guidelines which are committed to improving safety, respect and prevention of harassment in sport. The Safe Sport environment ensures that athletes, coaches and staff have a safe, inclusive, and supportive training and competition environment. Everyone has a role to play in creating a healthy physical and mental environment for sport participation.

Reporting to Manitoba Snowboard

Any Manitoba Snowboard member may report to the Manitoba Snowboard staff any complaint of an infraction by a member. Such a complaint must be submitted in writing within fourteen (14) days of the alleged incident.

If you would like to be anonymous in your submission you may use the Canada Snowboard Independent Third Party (Brian Ward) to submit your complaint. Brian’s role is to remain at arm’s length from Canada Snowboard to provide our Snowboard community with an expert and objective facilitation for the reporting of all Safe Sport related complaints of misconduct. If you have a complaint / reported allegation of misconduct, or you need independent advice on next steps for filing a complaint, please email Brian at itp@wwdrs.ca. He will ensure that your identity is kept confidential.
